Dear Mire,
After
spending fifty-six days in Sierra Leone with the Freedom Schooner
AMISTAD, I knew that I wanted to help the nation to return to it's past
glory. But, what to do? I was not able to give Hundreds of dollars, I
decided to help one family and asked others to do the same. But, how?
Food was the answer, you can't work on an empty stomach, you can't
concentrate in school with your stomach growling like a hungry tiger. I
knew I could send money but would that guarantee the right things. I
found Good Fambul and my problem was solved, here was a company that
offered to deliver directly to the family at a price I could not
believe. I am able to send on a regular basis the staples that will
keep my friends supplied with wholesome basics for their daily meals.
